Today I wanted to talk about Mistletoe. Not the mistletoe that hangs in doorway for kisses from Santa. I want talk to you about the benefits it gives to cancer patients. I will start by letting you know I’m not a medical professional. I am just passionate about living my best creative life, loving Jesus and being a mom and wife. In order for me to do these things and do them well, I need to be healthy and beating cancer is at the top of my to do list currently.
When I found out my cancer had returned last November I went into full research mode. I learned more over the next few months about super natural God healing, holistic healing and natural healing approaches to cancer than I had ever before in my life. I read many books, research articles and watched more testimonies than you could shake a stick at. Once I felt I had researched til my heart was content, I prayed and ask God to lead me on my healing journey. I believe the best medicine comes from the word of God and the earth he created. One of the top medicinal plants I’ve become passionate about is mistletoe. No you can’t just go out and pick mistletoe and eat it! Please don’t do this! It is poison to your body if you eat it! Yikes! Probably doesn’t taste very good either. There is a science to the way it is extracted from the plant and there are many different species depending on where it grows. European mistletoe seems to be the most researched and recognized in cancer treatment. It has been used in Europe for literally over 100 years as a integrative cancer treatment. There are many who have used it as their first line treatment to cancer and have overcome this disease. Mistletoe can be used right along side conventional treatments like chemotherapy, radiation and surgery with much success and no adverse effects.
I get two injections per week subcutaneously in my belly. It helps keep my blood counts up during chemotherapy and it also gives my immune system a well needed boost. It’s a win win! As we speak, John Hopkins is conducting a clinical trial on mistletoe with the help of a wonderful organization called Believe Big. This is one step toward making this therapy available to oncologists across America as a mainstream treatment. If you want to learn more about Mistletoe therapy, I encourage you to check out Believebig.org. It’s the best resource available to learn about mistletoe and find a doctor than can prescribe it for you or a loved one. Have a blessed day y’all! Kiss kiss!
