A Thankful Christmas

Today on Christmas I am so thankful for two rounds of treatments down and only three to go, which leaves a total of 9 treatments. I was so relieved that my second round was much easier on me than the first. My oncologist prescribed me magnesium and potassium supplements which seemed to have helped with some of the side effects. The heart problems I had on the first round were gone for the second round of treatments. Im praying I have the same results for the next three. I also feel that the epson salt baths have helped to lesson the side effects as they are a natural detox. Last week I started reading a book by Gloria Copeland called “Jesus Healed them All”. I would recommend this to anyone needing healing in their life. It helps to get your mind right when it comes to faith and healing. I am now thanking God for the healing he is doing in my body now and in the future. Even if I do not feel it or see it some days, I am thanking him because I am expecting healing, not just hoping for it. Just a few months before I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, my family doctor diagnosed me with Raynaud's Syndrome. I started having symptoms of this just this past summer…If I got the slightest bit cold, my fingers would get numb, tingle and get splotchy white spots on them. This would also happen to my toes which could be painful at times. I told my oncologist about this and she did not know of Raynaud's having a connection with cancer. I felt like once the cancer was out of my body this would go away. She just said it would be interesting to see what happens. I really do not think she felt it would have any effect on it….But, miraculously after the operation,I haven't  had a Raynaud's episode to this day. My Oncologist cant explain it. I know without a doubt that God is working in my body to heal me. Like I said, I am now expecting healing, not hoping for it and this unexplained healing is already proof enough for me. Thank you God on this Christmas Day for all your blessings! Memarie
